Anthem Insecticide Granules contains Fipronil (0.5g/kg)which is a NON-REPELLENT active to ants. As insects cross over surfaces treated with ANTHEM and return to the nest, they are contaminated and unaware they are affected, thus maintaining a trail and encouraging more ants to come in contact with the same treatment. Through social grooming and contact, insects unknowingly share the posion resulting in a delayed kill and elimination of ants.
Our technical team has evaluated all Fipronil granules on the market and have found that ANTHEM containing twice as much active as other brands like SAS PRO (Fipronil 0.25g/Kg) and a broader label claim including Argentine Stem Weevill and Mole Cricket, delivers the best results as there is twice as much active ensuring a longer term control and less potential for call backs.
ANTHEM is used in the control of nuisance ants in external surrounds of buildings and structures including gardens, lawns, ant nests and trials. Also registered for the control of Stem Weevill, Mole cricket and ants in commercial turf farms, parks, recreational areas, golf courses, bowling greens, sports fields etc.
Sold in a convenient 1.8kg shaker packs which are ready to apply. Also sold in a 450gram shaker pack and a large10kg Professional Pack which requires a spreader to apply.
For best results in turf application, ANTHEM Granules should be irrigated with at least 6 mm of rainfall or overhead irrigation immediately after application.

ANTHEM is formulated by Sherwood Chemicals using high grade quartz silica which is washed and graded to a specific granule size to deliver optimal results and controls.
